It's broad daylight
The world noisy as always
Birds singing in the sky
Whilst trees whistle.
My mind taken aback
Memories flow endless
My heart dying endless
Only to mock the mystery of our past
The ruins of our vows taken
Embraced and crushed
Whilst none to blame
Except the cruelties of the world
Whose cunning we failed
So we lost like we're lost
So alone we stand
The ruins in jest
