Endless thread
Finding what once had found me first,
losing a path that carried me forth.
I grasp at truths that dwell within
yet what remains to chase or to win?
Is this my being, or just my way?
A shadow guides, but I turn away.
They walk, they vanish before my eyes could ever find them
leaving echoes, riddles, and quiet goodbyes.
A new soul appears—illusion again?
Silence returns, the cycle begins.
Faces arrive, and faces fall,
yet a mask is worn—whose side after all?
I brace my heart so it will not break,
but endings gather, for endings’ sake.
After the roleplay, the ashes remain
it slips, it shatters, the weight of pain.
Somewhere along this endless thread,
I find I'm lost in what’s unsaid.
Seeking again what I cannot name,
a constant cycle, yet never the same
neither me nor the pain
