Didn’t need much.

Didn’t need the whole pep talk
Or a thousand reasons to stay.
Just a hot cup of tea.
Lying next to someone,
Listening to slow songs,
Randomly showing each other videos,
Laughing about ridiculous scenarios.
Someone who knew all the truths
Even the nasty ones
And still chose anyway
Chose to stay
Listening to the rain
Lying side by side,
Not a single care in the world,
Messy hair, pajamas,
Existing without trying to be anything more.
That is enough.
Because it is enough reason to stay.
