The world was going smooth once
Everyone was tied up with their work
Where anxiety,depression and jealousy still persisted
But talking about these things were awkward
The earth was still a better place to live in
For men were allowed to roam freely
Unlike some women in Indian society
Who used to get molested on the road daily
We destroyed environment to the hilt
Still called it progress
Made buildings, played games with nature
Disfigured the beauty with complete unkindness
Little did we know what the future contained
And what our lives would be henceforth
As we were busy making money
We forgot to show earth its worth
Thanks to China for this pandemic
As now we are nothing but frightened souls
Now we know the value of life
And should return the nature what we stole
