Then have the audacity to tell me that your family lived in misery
You want to explain how everything happened from your point of view
but I am not even allowed to read a bible in a pew
Go on tell me how your family were slaves but you can't tell me about the same people being freed because you are tearing out all of the pages out of greed
Don't glorify the messengers or the people who helped you nor do you glorify the slaves because the opinions just don't match
Explain to me how whites and blacks were both slaves, but call me racist because I want to give you the facts

Erase history
So you can attempt to put on your sly act
Sheild the new generation from the real truth
from all the hurt
