In an Isle of my countryside
A man sat down to open the story book
From page to page
From cover to cover
Of a tale as old as time
Of a cave where I became
The knight, the guardian
The sentinel and the hero
Some people inside the cave were chained
Some were unfettered and unchained
Unfortunately non of us had freedom
We just differed by level of our escape
The Chained
The Unchained And
The Sentinel
All of us had unquenchable thirst
We wanted to be free
Like the birds in the sky
Like the fishes in the lake
Like animals in the forest
Like a nightingale in the garden
Freedom is a pricy sweet,
You get a taste of it,
You keep coming back for more
Nay! Nay! Nay!
We needed no freedom
We needed shackle in our ankle
We needed fetter in our wrist
We needed lock in our mouth
We needed nothing but Escape
Escape from reality, from ourselves
From our mind, from infidels leader
From our heart and sexual desires.
I believe a bird felt more safe in the cage than on the tree
