Escaped

Sad men
Talking about the ferry
Which bought
Them to their blurry
Lives when they didn't have worries.
Now they,
Regret
Playing with the glary
Sun and
Tell they acted cheery
Forgot the times when we ate cherries.
I thought all the days were as golden
For you as for me.
Now I see
You were never gay
You were making hay
Of the situations
And the changing nations.
Never told the truth
Never played the flute
When I told you to do so
You always just let it go.
You could've escaped all, trips
A long time early
Could've escaped the threatening slips.
Numb hands
Whom were they caring
After
This sham thin layering
Or drawing a picture of you crying?
Did You
Ever
Realise why I was smiling
Even
When glitches were scaring
Didn't give a damn to all bearings.
I had the best days in which you hadn't really lived.
Now you see
I was always gay
I wasn't making hay
Of the situations
And the changing nations.
Always told the truth
Always played the flute
When you told me to do so
I never just let it go.
I will never escape, from the trips
In the near future
Will never escape from the venturous slips.
