ETERNAL BOND
When raven wings shroud the silver moon’s pale glow..
My obsidian star, that gleams where shadows grow
From Gusu’s spires to Lotus Cove’s murky deep—
“Wo Ai Ni” I whisper, while cold crypts sleep
Thou art my beacon through night’s velvet fold
From light’s frail breath to darkness that holds soul
My Laoshi, cease thy draught of bitter gall
For I too yearn to cry to worlds beyond all—
“Thou art mine own, bound by blood and bone”
A laugh once light now rings through tombs alone
Thy eyes burn crimson as thou gazest afar
Yet still thou canst not speak what lies beneath thy scar—
“This heart is thine,” though veiled in mist and thorn
Fell from the heavens where dark constellations mourn
Did I not name thee my star of obsidian birth?
My Laoshi—why drink vinegar like poison on earth?
