On the outside show no fear
on the inside tear after tear
hit the pillow year after year
All the pain inside took over broke them both
Her cuz he didn't treat her right like a woman deserves
Him, well addiction played its part, no excuse tho he wasnt ready to learn or earn tbh always felt like he never deserved her
Truth is neither one deserved such pain
instead of enjoying the sun shine he became a storm and brought nothing but rain
She held on for as long as she could
Tried to help and open his eyes to see he was causing a downfall always up to no good
Little did she know the battle he faced on the daily addiction kills everythimg in its path subtracts love as well as trust leaves torn hearts in its aftermath
God reached down to both their hearts and souls to help His children
Helped her let him go finally so she could find her smile again
Helped him by rescuing him from that one drug that took over everything within him
He was locked behind bars in his mind
Got locked up behind lockup to give him a chance to find
Find himself or to open his eyes to reality
not what the drugs made him see
theres a difference between illusions and actual losing it all...
on the verge of total loss
Gods never-ending love intervened
He is my saviour and his word I'll follow at any cost
lost the Angel I got sent from God above
burned every bridge and closed every door so she gave up on love
hope she finds her smile again
As i write this I know in my heart she will stay open arms forever hi hoping for the day I see that beautiful smile
brighten up even the darkest of days...
