I was once a kid, trapped in a corner nobody reaching out to assist.
I was bullied, picked on, kicked on I was made a fool.
Told myself enough is enough!
I strapped up, moved on got up from the ground,
Told my parents to no longer hold my hand, I'm about to write my own destiny with my hands.
I got hold of some real friends,
I gained some confidence from those I had around,
I got introduced to writing music, dancing like some smooth criminal with one diamond glove,
For some reason I had MJ's heart!
Instead of falling apart,
I rise from the ground!
Poetry lifted me high into the sky!
My own nightmare became my joyride,
Here I am a joy to your eyes,
My words soothing your hearts,
I am able to change lives somehow,
Just one word and my perseverance could help you reach beyond the stars!
