EVERYDAY

Everyday I dream a dream that never comes true.
A dream that includes not just me but
also you.
A dream that in my eyes and within my heart
knows that Britain is rapidly falling apart.
Everyday I dream that I could be
A very special charity.
To uplift the spirits of this suffering nation
As they are robbed of their happiness
And their liberation.
Everyday I dream that whilst I'm poor
I wish that there was another door
to walk through into a world of peace
Where politics and fighting would surely cease.
Everyday I dream of no more Sunday trading
As I watch my social life quickly fading.
Knowing that when the chance of seeing my family comes my way
I have to work on Boxing Day.
Everyday I dream of being sixty five
And hoping that I'll still be alive
To draw my pension and to be free
knowing that this is the restart of my
life for me.
