Everything is shrinking in the world today
A reduction in size I am sorry to say
I am referring to the food that we go out and buy
I bought a bar of chocolate today and started to cry
Chocolate is not the only thing reduced in size
Where is the steak and kidney in those lovely pies ?
Drinks are another thing that has decreased and dwindled
Don't start me on crisps I think I have been swindled
Back in my younger days food was value for money
Nowadays you get less and pay more which isn't funny
However one bit of advice to bring this poem to an end
Be grateful for the food you have its better than starving my friend
