The clock is ticking,
“tick-tock, tick-tock”
You fathom the rhythm ignoring the knocks
Like the fish in a net,
your full of regret, slippery, slimy, and always so wet
Unaware of the snares that lay at your feet, they poison your food with lies and deceit
Officers of law- they play in the street, as the rich and the famous cook children to eat.
The mistress has won! Or so she thinks, but the stench of her sins is starting to stink,
Her crew has gone missing, her ship- it will sink, down she will go and with her - her links.
We keep hearing every day, how police got their way,
they are pulling their guns and shooting our sons,
And they say to us, It’s the cops so that’s okay.
I’ll tell you this- and say it once; their souls are on decay.
God is coming! You called and summoned-the one who holds the day!
Don’t you run, come out your pod, there’s only one and he is God, he spoils no child, he spares no rod. Your legs shall be lame, your fame it shall cease, he prepareth a supper and you are the feast.
No righteous shall eat it, for they are all saved, they knew of the blood and how it forgave. Following Jesus, the roadway is paved. He is the truth the light, and the way.
