Excerpt from my book DIARY OF A FATHER on women

She maybe the most educated,
Or may hail from the remotest village,
Still a puppet in the hands of every man,
Decide anything for herself is still a distant privilege,
She's a victim of age old traditions,
Her lively spirit is harmed,
By everyone who knows her,
She voluntarily remains unalarmed,
Her concealed cries are the most harrowing,
But no one cares to apprehend,
For ages she remained an image of suffering,
I pray someday their stories to have a happy end.
