Incase you don't know... My name is Katherine Overby and I write what I feel. The past two free writes were harder than usual. Their title stands true because they are texts to my dead brother. I have lost a lot in my life and I am only 19. I write with love and it sends all of my hard times through an escape vent. Your attention doesn't matter to me. When I posted those it was closure for someone I loved and I wasn't lying. I hope everyone understands that poetry is a way to the deepest depths of the heart where not all is rainbows, butterflies, people drowning, or empty space. It's important. It's their hopes, dreams, beliefs, secrets, and insecurities. It's stuff they show no'one for a year and more. Hence why my dates are important. So, there is my explanation for my work. Write from your heart, head, and soul. Let every word guide you to peace not a seeking position.
