Fabrication

“Fabrication”
A way to lie is
A preaching falsified
To testimonies that
Are fabricated and honestly,
Could never test time.
Because time testifies that
When you and I move on
From this current life,
We will have lived and died
A lie that we could never
Speak the truth about due to
Our own infatuation with dying pride.
So may I ask? Where were you
On the fateful moment of life
When we all decided to stop
And wanted to ask the simple question,
“Who are you and I to
Stop and to wonder
Where did time go by
During the moment in time
When burdens became blessings
And blessings were then disguised
Under the guise of a ruse
And that lit the fuse?”
And when that fuse blew,
It tore me mentally in two.
I was sometimes never enough
And others I was more.
So who am I to deny
The mental rights to defy
All of what makes me me,
Because the answer, I don’t have.
So tell me, who are we,
Under this blanket of lies?
