O

facets

An Amalgamation of each person whose
selves I have syphoned from: Laugh like mother;
cooly smirk like my former boss.
I wanted to be around smokers, so i became one.
Inhaling poison for social positioning.
I wanted to be a liberal,
so I read books about abortion and racism.
Every book I read I become: flat and long,
smashed between pages, my intention
squoze out of pores in a crimson blubber,
Staining everything
like cherries do.
Reinflate my flat surfaces, round
out the feminine curl of my body
until niples stand errect and my flesh shines,
a heaving sunset pink.
