Facing her fears

She feels her sins
crawling up her skin.
One by one
She came undone.
With hope and grace
She covers her face.
If only the bad disappeared.
Then she wouldn't be facing her fears.
Her recklessness subsided
As she faced everything head on to which she had confided.
Her steps towards her goals is what makes her believe.
Believe and not deceive.
She hangs on to what little guilt is left of her.
Oh how she hurts
Life in the fast lane
Brought on so much pain.
Now she looks forward to all the good on its way.
Her dues she had paid.
Whatever skeletons are left lingering, she can fix them.
The beginning of her new chapter just began with the past coming to an end.
