Faded Pasts
The night is come 🌌
The sun gone🌄
The stars 💫✨ turned on
I wish my fears are long gone
But deep down my heart beats like a drum 🥁.
Feeling lonely I looked at the night sky
I smiled
While the moon watched in a silent sigh,
I held my breath and tried not to cry,
as tears gathered, asking why
I recalled the days when kitchen fires touched my humble inside
Maybe I should give it one last try
For those were the happy days I could smile
But in tears, I smiled with closed eyes.
The days where family was familiar
When love was familiar
When laughter sounded clearer
When love felt dearer and nearer
And every heart beat softer.
But these are all in the past
For the love of old had cast
And memories so vast are now long past
The family I knew had faded fast
Though Seasons had passed, my love so vast still lasts
And the universe stands fast, healing heart at last.
