The flame of salvation, once ignited in the heart of men,
Has now reduced to ashes. What has become of our lamps?
I thought we all agreed to keep the fire burning.
If the Bridegroom comes now, will He still meet us waiting?
What happened to our love for Christ and for the body of Christ?
Days when Christ was the main focus, and other things were a blur.
Are we still seeking the kingdom of God and His righteousness,
Or are we after other things?
Gone are the days when, through fire or rain, we'd follow Jesus.
Is famine not separating us from the love of Christ?
What happened to the days when people would trek miles just to see Jesus?
Now we sit at home, all in the name of fuel scarcity.
Gone are the days when people stuck to their Bibles 24/7.
We have replaced the sword with our phones. Why?
Where is the faith of our fathers?
Days when Elijah prayed fire down,
Days when Elijah prayed until he saw the miracle of rain.
The willing heart that made Abraham almost sacrifice Isaac,
Have we lost it?
Where is the seal of Peter and Paul?
Where is the seal that kept them in the days of adversity?
Where is the seal that kept Stephen smiling even when he was being stoned to death?
Where is the fear of God that made Joseph refuse to sin against God?
Where is the consecration that made Daniel deny himself of the king's delicious meal?
Where is the confidence that made Daniel refuse to bow down?
Where is Deborah's boldness in the life of young ladies to lead the war against Sisera?
Where is the courage of Esther that said, "If I die, I die!" to save her generation?
Where is the fire that burnt down the altar of Baal?
A call to surrender!
Attention, soldiers of the cross, arise!
Uphold the dignity, the faith, the belief, the struggles of our fathers.
Do not let Jesus Christ die in vain!
