I want to to stay awake,
To see the light of day.
I wish the rain was falling,
To wash my tears away.
I want to hold you close to me,
Like I never have before.
I wish the days were longer,
I wish the nights were too.
I want to watch this flower,
I want to see it grow.
I wish that God was here today,
I wish somehow he was.
I know that God has done good things,
I see it everyday.
I wish I could thank HIM for everything,
I wish he could hear my prayers.
In the hopes that he might hear me.
I'll pray every night!
I love God and I have faith,
And no one can take that away!!!
