Faith In Nothing

Faith In Nothing
I feel an ache long turned irreplaceable,
A sense of blame to which burns so hot,
I find myself warming my hands before it,
Stanzas alone will rarely make them see.

I don't belong where I wish to,
I don't know what it is about me that intrigues you,
For alone, I can only be the concept of envy,
I can't think you know what I feel, and what I do not.

A shadow may be at anothers mercy,
But if shunned so aggressively with light,
Forever, shall it dissappear,
Is there point in light without a consequence for it?

Oh, how I'd like to write about what runs through my mind like water.
