One by one they all fall
in amazing brilliant color
each one stand apart from them all
alone,they complement each other
they live their lives without regret
waiting patiently to die
to share a moment of mortality
as they show us how to fly
we take such pleasure from their Denise
drive hundreds of miles to see
we stare with wonderment in our eyes
at the joy in death of leaves.
