"I want you to fall in love with me " I tell him
He looks at me and scoffs
"So you can what? " he laughs
"So you can break my heart again?
So you can use me again?
So you can take my heart and crush it?
So you can hurt me? " he screams as he walks away
I deserved that
I hurt him, I cut him deep, too deep
I run after him and grab his arm
He is surprised, I never showed the need to talk to him
" I want you to fall in love with me" I repeat myself as I look into those brown eyes so brown they appear black
"I want you to fall in love with me because of who I am with you, because of what I wanna be with you
I want you to fall in love with me because I need you
I want you to fall in love with me because of how silent my demons are with you, they are attracted to you
I want you to fall in love with me because you give me a reason to keep going
I want you to fall in love with me because you are my pace maker - you remind my heart to beat
I want you to fall in love with me because you are the only one who doesn't give up on me even when I give up on myself
I want you to fall in love with me because even when I break you fix me even though my pieces hurt you
I want you to fall in love with me because I can't bear the thought of loosing you
And most importantly I want you to fall in love with me... " I stop and take his hands in mine as I continue "because I'm in love with you ".
He us too shocked to say a word as he stares at me with wide eyes and an open mouth.
He quickly regains himself as he blinks his unshed tears away and pulls from my grip
"No!!! " he shouts
"I can't... I can't do this again" he moves away from me like my touch burned him
"I can't be hurt again" he looks away from me
I grab his arm tightly forcing him to look at me, giving him a window to my soul
"Then hurt me" I state out of desperation
I rather he hurt me than give up on me
"I just can't" a tear escapes his eyes
"Then fall in love with me" I tell him again.
