Falling Star

Falling star
I was looking into the night sky
When to my surprise I saw a falling star saying goodbye
It brought tears to my eyes
Oh falling star that once shined so bight
May you find a safe place to rest your head tonight
I thank you for hanging in the sky at night All those years you shined so bright
You always were my favorite
I went outside when it got dark you we're always my first sight
Now that you are leaving may you grant me a wish tonight
That would be so very kind
I could use a hand if you don’t mine
It has been very tough
I won’t lie it’s been absolutly rough
I can’t do it all
I tried to see if you could send help but I had no phone to call
When I was out by that I old wall
I slipped with no one there to catch me I began to fall
I hit the that muddy ground
With out making a sound
I look up I see you shining so bright
You were laughing at my plight
That was not nice then I also laughed at my sight
I was standing dripping mud by th old shed from my feet to my head
I do try oh falling star
I don’t complain the house the roof the car So you dear go rest
I will do my best
Thanks again for 75 years
I be up there soon my dear
Rest your head
I will go lie down in my bed
I will dream of you
My darling sue
My falling star i love you
