She was his eldest Sister
Watched him abandoned in the river Nile
Couldn't bear to see him Die
So watched him grow under her watchful Eyes
But times had Changed
He was now speaking directly to God and not Angels
Had indeed become God's Friend and highly Anointed
And not just the baby boy she Tended
So when God Heard
That he was treated with Contempt
They were not Spared
Remembering the people of Nazareth
Who couldn't come to Terms
That the carpenter's son that grew up with Them
Was the Messiah from Bethlehem
So they couldn't be Helped
More than other towns in their Stead
All because of this same issue of Contempt
How about you and I
With our attitude to our Spiritual Lives
Not maximising the graces from the body and blood of Jesus Christ
As taking it always makes us see His significance very Light
Also and most Annoying
Is our disrespect for the Clergy
Even our marital partners we call Honey
This writing is just a Warning
That our attitude needs Healing.
