Far deep in the shadows,
A tree grows like all the rest,
No animals find it shelter,
Not a single bird will nest,
All alone and yet just as strong,
Growing with a equal intent,
Trying to reach up to the sun,
With all the same effort spent,
This tree was unfortunately chosen,
Destined to thrive all alone,
Bearing the same brutal forces,
Yet left with trails all unknown,
Bringing the same beautiful blooms,
Shedding the same colorful leaves,
Yet the world is left unaware,
Of all the damage it receives,
One lone far away tree,
It may not have a presences shown,
But I can relate to this single tree,
For its destiny I have known
