In life we are but mere pawns,
Guided by fate until we have gone.
Destiny awaits us all,
Though some will rise and others will fall.
Our paths are laid out for us to take,
It's up to us which ones to make.
The road may be bumpy or smooth,
But the destination we cannot soothe.
Some say we create our own fate,
Others believe it's predetermined and great.
No matter what side you align,
We all must embrace what is divine
welcome destiny with open arms,
For fate may lead us to success or to failure,
But our determination will be our savior.
