Fear not the raging river,
nor the space beyond the sky.
Fear instead those that tell no truth
as they look you in the eye.
Fear not the blackest depths of the sea,
nor the oceans deepest blue.
Fear instead mankind and their hateful ways
and the things they do to hurt you.
Fear not the rising of the sun,
nor the sky as dark as night.
Fear instead those who claim to do no wrong
while spreading lies that you do no right.
Fear not the winds of a hurricane,
nor the blizzards deadly cold.
Fear instead the wickedness of human kind
who, to the devil, their souls they've sold.
Fear not the tornado touching down,
nor the earthquake, as the ground forms a crack.
Fear instead those who say that they're your friend
and then stab you in the back.
Fear not the rain pooring down,
nor the lightning in the sky.
Fear instead the deviance of their smile
as they tell you lie after lie.
Fear not the drought that kills the crops,
nor the blistering sun on your skin you feel.
Fear instead the one's who manipulate,
those who lie and cheat and steal.
Fear not the poison of a deadly snake,
nor the bite of a tiger or claws of a bear.
Fear instead those who abuse you
and then pretend that they really care.
Fear not the things created by God,
for they are all a part of his great plan.
Fear instead all the things that are caused
by the heart of the evil man.
