The fears that haunt my mind, resonating with screams and screeches
The fears that crawl in my soul, tearing it apart in pieces
The fears that make me feel unimportant, like a grain of sand in a beach
These fears maul me constantly, slowly sucking my life out like leeches
I demean myself in the self-created gaze of the world
I try to forget the insults that everyday on me get hurled
Even a word of disgust against me lingers deep in my heart forever
Whenever I try to clear my vision about myself, it only gets blurred
These fears feed on our insecurities, growing stronger by the time
They make our personality rust, which once which used to shine
They shatter our confidence and close our dreaming eyes
They make us hollow, unfathomably weak inside
They nibble at our will to live, until nothing is left
They belittle our talents, leave only the envy of others' at best
They weigh down our heart beyond measure
At leisure these fears exist, whatever we consider our treasure being theft
