The other day, I sat at this old bar, staring at the people, wishing I had a love like they do.
But we know that you were never true.
I have a tear coming down my face, every time I hear your name, then I just take another hard drink.
That's when I start to think.
Every now and then I try looking at your picture of our memories, I realized what we had was good, but my heart breaks knowing you were the one who cheated.
On and on, it's been repeated.
For many years we were together,
For many years you cheated.
Feeling out of sorts and defeated.
Every night before I sleep I feel lonely inside knowing your not next to me in bed.
Oh how these thoughts go on and on, in my head.
I wish every now and then I was still with you, that way the hard drinks don't need to kick in, to forget you.
We only get this way, because you chose to.
We keep going down this road with the truth.
