I saw my daughter break down today,
I held her in my arms and told her to stay.
The look in her eyes made me want to cry.
I know somewhere in her world are so many lies.
The guy that she loves, isn't the guy I would have wanted her to be with, but what can you do.
Except hold out your heart to her and love her through and through.
I told her when she left home for good that life will never be the same.
It doesn't mean it's a bad thing, it just means that the puzzle of life is like one complicated game.
If your with someone who expects you to do everything, life can be quite draining.
If your with someone who is your equal partner, it will stop your tears from raining.
Now life is not all that bad, if you find yourself smiling instead of being sad.
That is what I told my girl, but if you stress more then have a peaceful feeling, then start de-stressing yourself.
Life can be easier if you are on the right path, and feeling doubtful.
