An errant demon is roving
People stand in need of abolishing

Defeated demon
Hoisted the flag of victory on tenth day
Young and elders come together
To celebrate this day every year
For nine days, dedicated to nine goddess
Each day devoted with one color
Sets the stage and lights
Offers prayers and fast
In seek of blessings
