Fifty years is a long time to be together walking side by side.
But three months ago she was diagnosed with cancer and yesterday she died.
And now that fifty years seems to have gone by very fast
like a second that was here and just like that it's past
We were two people when we met but over fifty years the two became but one
She was my earth. She was my sky. she was my moon and stars and sun.
And how do you go on living when your love's no longer at your side
Is it even possible to live again when half of you has died
There is nothing that I wouldn't give to have you back again with me
But even if I gave everything I had still it couldn't be
But I have to find a way to live without you till my time on earth is done
When we can be together and once again be one
