Nothing felt better then the nice cool air on her toes.
Suffering from anxieties, a pressure of heat had arose.
Beaten down everyday from depression still it would not stop her from living.
Her heart just keeps on giving.
The walls around her were built strong enough not to break down.
So she fought whatever came along her way, she fought without a sound.
The bed was the last place that she wanted to be in.
Because once she went under those covers, it meant her illness would win.
Staying up til all wee hours of the night.
Take away darkness, and bring in the light.
Open up those curtains and let the sunshine in.
Then you can say you didn't let depression win.
