Finally Free

I've been a slave:
I've slaved for friends and family,
Dictating my childhood fantasies,
Everyone always had some opinion,
"Do that do this if you do blessings will fall on you",
I had to push aside my dreams,
Carry others burdens on my shoulders,
It was so hard to think, my world crumbled before my feet.
I've been a slave yes I've had the chance,
To feel how it was walking with life as chains,
Wrapped around my neck suffocating me to a point where my eyes should have popped out of my head damaging my brain just to remind me, my life was worthless in so many ways, found myself asking why breath when air was never free for me, yet I still had to seek salvation in the streets where everyone suddenly was some expert on how to deal with misery.
I've slaved for men and women in my past,
Walked paths I never knew we had on land,
I've seen how people pretend to love me,
Some even pretended not to judge me,
But i could see through their eyes,
It was all just some lie.
I was merely a child they day I had my first real cry,
No not because of hunger, or stubbornness but..
But because I had to be a man at age 5 because someone decided not to play the role of dad but I shouldn't be surprised right?
But now I understand, things happen and I might never really figure everything out, but I can't live my life being in this dark corner I need some light, to shine on me and give me new life yes I'm really hyped for I am starting to love myself the way I am, accepting my flaws is part of my plan, knowing that I have a choice to be stuck in the past or making good use of the present is based on what I do next but of course I've always been blessed and I'm still going to be judged but so what? I chose to be happy I am braking these chains.
To be continued...
