Find a Better Way

So tired
No sleep and depressed
Deprivation is just drowning my chest
Unbearable weights saturate and compress
I would be lying by saying
I'm trying my best
But I can't hold myself accountable
For the ocean of stress
Mountain terrain crumbles down
On breaking my nest
Like an avalanche tumbles
Heeding no warning
Frozen like a cold stone
In need of a warming
When will there come a time that
I don't feel so blind to see
That I could analyze the difference
Between real mahogany?
Am I given a bargain,
In exchange for my willpower?
I'm allowed to enjoy myself
But never become more proud
Constantly and abruptly I
Find myself distracted
Sidetracked, disorganized, and even unmatched
A harder chore to pull off
Is when it goes unacknowledged
But in the very least
Wait I found another option
Instead of putting all my effort
In a necessary measure
In a temporary lever just full of displeasure
Fulfilling a role of a willing contender
Instead I choose a quick benefit
Like interest to a lender
Procrastination is a haunting, cruel beast
Feasting without mercy or
Empathy in the least
I'm trapped in a tunnel
Blind in a dark cave
Rooting out the evil that
Deprives me of my gain
That influences my refrain
It leaves me with a lasting pain
How am I to bring myself to make a better change
I suppose that it must start
When I quit asking questions
