Life can be uncertain and unfair,
Some have plenty while others despair,
No income, no guide, no partner near,
Like a blind person lost in fear.
No light, no hope, no love in sight,
No reason to greet the morning light,
No reason to cherish the moon's soft glow,
No reason to stay where I don't belong, I know.
Like a log adrift in a turbulent stream,
Like a stone worn down by life's extreme,
Loneliness and despair eating me inside,
Leaving me hollow, nowhere to hide.
I yearn for peace, to embrace the end,
To rest in the quiet, my heart to mend,
But my feet won't move, my will uncertain,
A lingering doubt, a flicker of yearning.
Why do I hesitate, why can't I let go?
Is there still a spark, a seed to sow?
A sudden chill, a fear grips tight,
A glimpse of hope in the darkest night.
Perhaps I want to live, to try once more,
To mend what's broken, to even the score.
To feel the warmth of the sun on my face,
To stand firm against life's relentless race.
I want to live, to rise above,
To find my purpose, to feel love.
But is it too late, have I lost the fight?
As I fade into the endless night.
I realize now, as the darkness looms,
That life is precious, filled with rooms,
For growth, for change, for a second chance,
To rise from the ashes, to break free from the trance.
So this is not goodbye, but a new start,
To listen to the beating of my heart,
To seek the light, to find my way,
To live each moment, come what may.
Though the road may be steep, the journey long,
I'll find my strength, I'll sing my song.
For I am not a loser, but a soul reborn,
Ready to face the world, no longer torn.
