Sitting there in that dark room,
Thinking thoughts of rage and fire.
Feeling the flakes of ice beneath her skin
As the rage scorches away her every desire.
All her hope is finally extinguished.
All the light just fades away.
The resounding echoes gradually increase
While she sits mute and hears them say
That love is simply an abomination,
Filling her with a false security.
Leaving her to depend upon him
While he tears down her integrity.
What is love if not destructive?
She never wanted them to get like this.
Whose fault is this frame of being?
For to him it's hers and to her it's his.
So she sits there, alone in that dark room,
Thinking thoughts of rage and fire.
She feels the flakes of ice beneath her skin
As the rage scorches away her every desire.
