FLIGHT
A bird chirped sounds of obvious slavery
Voice cracked and weary
Legs tied, soul trapped
Wings clipped, alien to sour
He hoped until there were no hopes to hope
He looked up to the sky so bright
And imagined a taste of its light
The bird chirped sounds of obvious slavery
Voice cracked and weary
The bird looks at its caged soul
And accepted life's fate so
He played with wonderland friends
And his hopes of freedom an end
The bird chirped sounds of joyous slavery
His voice proclaimed Joy and less weary
Wings clipped, alien to soar
He enjoys its profound comfort
Since his hopes never came forth
Sudden blast of heavenly freedom
Wings free, vast liberty to flee
But the bird forgot how to use its wings
Slavery an addiction,freedom never cures
