Flowers that gleam...
In the solace of my world of dreams,
I find myself weeping alone,
and though the flowers that smile and gleam,
can't seem to make my thoughts down to slow,
A weary soul trapped in young body,
where true love is just a rumor,
where heart is broken barely beating,
everyday seems like a cold shower,
Though I strive and surround myself with books, where nature would occupy my mind,
still somewhere somehow my thoughts are due, the wounds not even healed by time,
The flowers around me help me smile,
each one with radiant glow,
for their glow helps keep me alive,
and helps me to have a little hope...
