A bell rang in your head
Your not in your bed
You open your eyes
Then you realize
That your laying on the ground
You take a quick look all around
To see where you are
Hell where is your car
Then you see it in the street
You laughed you had no shoes on your feet
Your outside your house in the dirt
You were crying and hurt
Then angry and mad
Tired of all the lies and sad
Once again you felt used
You were taken advantage of and abused
Standing up on your feet you felt all your aches and pains
You go inside closed the door attached the chain
You feel like you been asleep for ages
Now you must get up and turn the page
When you do its empty absolutely blank
You turn around thinking is some joke or prank
Then realize that tomorrow has not been written
You can breathe the fresh air feel the purr of a kitten
See your reflection in a cold mountain stream
You can still hear coach yelling at your old football team
You then smile like a bulb that just turn on it lights
How easy it was to just stop and listen and see all the sights
That you once enjoyed but now are missing
Because you’re too busy yelling screaming and hissing
You realize that your still alive and your still here
That anyone can change their own stars by just facing their fears
Then grabbing a pen you begin writing a new song
One where your happy and really truely belong
Until you decide enough is enough
Your life will not change and it will continue to be rough
For you and only you can stop the pain
Just flush it all down the drain
