Feeling sad and alone
what am I fighting for
walking towards the edge
this is the time to see if my wings will
fly or fall to my death
I can't breathe or speak to scream if I need
nor can I see the bottom
what does that mean?
a heavy heart I carry with me
one hounded tears flow underneath my feet
as I stumble and fall
should I get up no its better to crawl
struggling to hold my own weight
the world on my shoulder the scale tips over
the world is greater
than me how do I even the scale?
I need a fire to burn within me
what's left is smoke all around me
but out the ashes I rise up like a phoenix
a dark flaming bird with wings that are longer then my feet could be
this is the time
I fly
or
die..
