Foot of the hill

On the route that lead to the foot of the hill
Where a man and a woman once lived
Where their spirits and presence linger still
For me it was hard to believe
So I set out one night to the foot of the hill
To investigate the claims of sights
Reluctantly I went to the foot of that hill
In the early hours of the night
The air grew cold and the sky turned dark
And I knew I had to start fire
The night progressed and I was hard at work
Whoever started this legend is a liar
I was looking for logwood at the foot of the hill
Something sinister gave me the chills
Coz I heard a whispering right next to me
And then I knew that I had to flee
But my heart was racing and I went all
numb
My hair was raising, I had goosebumps
At that moment I knew that I was not alone
I knew my ghost hunting days was done
Thining back to the night at the foot of the hill
Where ghosts of two lovers still live
I know some of you will find it hard to believe
So feel free to visit the foot of the hill
