Her bangles clanged as she strolled,
Over the warm,golden sands..
The Sun began to dive into the horizon,
Spreading its amber coral tints into the late afternoon sky..
She hummed as she walked,
Carrying a clay pitcher by her waist,
A dishevelled bun she had,
Her fair,soft feet bare.
Her earrings swung,
Following her rhythmic paces.
She knelt before the sparkling blue waters,
Slowly immersing her pitcher.
Then she stood up,
Enjoying a gust of bracing wind,
As she picked up her water filled pitcher-
And commenced on the long journey home,
Leaving wet footsteps on the sand..
