He was not just a cousin
For my sister and brothers and I
He was also a good friend
He took time to listen
A wonderful personality
Nice and generous that's for certain
Growing up were good times
We laughed and we fought
Mostly we got along just fine
Trips to Toronto and Windsor
Just him my brother and I
Our cousin was always the driver
He left us one day sadly
So suddenly gone away
We will remember him fondly
A very kind and friendly person
We need more people like him
So unique there isn't a better version
His memory will last forever
We hold him deep in our hearts
We thank him, knowing him was a pleasure
