For my grandmother

She lays acceptingly subdued and stilled, as last breaths draw from in front
of wilted lips.
Dried words of repentence escape, desperately pushed forwards as oblation and she walks from behind those closed eyes in search of her unstudied deity.
A weakened silhouette forms shaped by reprehensibility, to exhale a life of sorrow which held the woman paralyzed by a suffered voice haunting the palace within her nightmares.
She is comfortably numbed now.
No more pain flows inside old hardened veins and only death awaits in her final seconds of existence, to secure this soul without strain or reluctance.
She blooms through sombre isolation.
In this solitude she is granted pardon for the travesty of humanity engraved into her saddened story.
God does not appear before her
final sight and she cries alone.
She dies alone.
