For When You Leave.

For When You Leave.
One thought swiftly turns to many,
There's another, so forget the dog locked in the kennel.

You barely see me, do you?
The look I picture when I left you first fails to fuel my empathy,
For I know I'm a pebble in a shoe,
Or a piece of paper used only temporarily.

My chest still aches for you,
But now, it resents all that you do,
And everything you tell me you see fails to appeal because of my wounded envy, which rusts,
With you, I've forgotten trust.

When will you leave?
I know my wrongful rage seethes,
And I don't intend to hurt you,
I just can't cope with how people adore you.
