So short his life would be
Far to soon into life he'd die
His songs are a sweet memory,

To music he brought the electric guitar
To music and to stage
His songs were so different
He soon became all the rage,
His son Bocephus, or boy stone
Sings as great as his Dad
Will not ever be all alone
His life was not a fad,
On 17 September 1923 he was born
Died at an age less than 30
I was raised on his songs
Oh, What a tender memory they be.
Few other's had so much acclaim
Save his favorite son
Hank Williams was his name
A Honky Tonk singer second to none.
