In order to find or even start creating yourself, I've learned that it is very important you this:
Forgive oneself.
I forget this sometimes, however I have great reminder. Three Chinese symbols on my inner forearm that are Strength, Courage, and Forgiveness.
I must have the Strength and the
Courage to give Forgiveness.
For those who have done wrong and harm to me.
Throughout my life, for it is not on me to give judgement, they will receive upon judgement day.
Please, give yourself forgiveness for your happiness is worth more then their judgement.
